Tim O’Loughlin

Tim joined Eastward in 2010 and is a member of the Investment Committee.

Tim’s background in both private lending and bank-sponsored debt provides him with unique insights into the advantages of both types of financing. Having been directly involved in over 200 financings for high technology companies, Tim has significant experience in creating structures which have the potential to benefit his clients and investors alike.

Tim began his career at Silicon Valley Bank where he rose to the role of Senior Credit Officer of the bank’s communication practice where he approved and monitored loans with a value in excess of $1.5 billion and sat on the bank’s five-person senior loan committee. While at Silicon Valley Bank, Tim worked with the Eastward team on a number of portfolio companies. Prior to joining Eastward, he ran the New England Region for Vencore Capital.

Tim has been an active participant in a number of charities and civic groups in his hometown of Medfield, MA. He supports several important causes including Friends of Boston’s Homeless, New Life Home Refurnishing, and Amelia’s Light with his time and resources.

Tim is a graduate of Boston College.
